Not-so-cracked developer, just figuring out tech and life.
I hail from Bihar, older than most countries and underrated by most people. The degree says computer science, VTU Bengaluru, though most of what I actually use came after it.
Two and a half years at Cognizant as a DBA, then Spike.sh, where I ran the backend for their incident management product and built their Slack app, which more than 150 orgs inside Spike use. These days I am at Palyt, building for restaurants: inventory, recipe generation, and software an outlet can actually run profitably on. Hospitality was never new to me, it has been around my whole life, but this is the first time I have got to build for it, and there is a satisfaction in that I have not found anywhere else. Somewhere down the line I want a cafe of my own, in my own city.
Right now I am building, learning and documenting as I go. Backend engineering is most of it, AI and how to use it efficiently is the rest. Keeping the learning a habit is the part that matters.

Born in Munger, on the banks of the Ganga, in the town Mahatma Gandhi visited in 1934.
School in Bihar, nursery to class ten, most of it from a hostel.
Three years in Kota, Rajasthan: class 11, class 12, and 12 once more, chasing an IIT that did not happen.
Wrote COMEDK and came to Bengaluru. B.E. in Information Technology, Acharya Institute of Technology.
Kept production databases alive at Cognizant, mostly at three in the morning.
Built the incident backend and a Slack app from scratch at Spike.sh.
