I build software, learn from what breaks, and write it down.
Currently at Palyt, where I work on inventory, recipe costing, and the parts of a kitchen that nobody wants to look at. Before that, a few things that did not work, which taught me more. I keep notes here because I forget faster than I learn.
Since 1999
Born in Munger, on the banks of the Ganga, in the town Mahatma Gandhi visited in 1934.
School in Bihar, nursery to class ten, most of it from a hostel.
Three years in Kota, Rajasthan: class 11, class 12, and 12 once more, chasing an IIT that did not happen.
Wrote COMEDK and came to Bengaluru. B.E. in Information Technology, Acharya Institute of Technology.
Kept production databases alive at Cognizant, mostly at three in the morning.
Built the incident backend and a Slack app from scratch at Spike.sh.
